PHYSICAL FEATURES OF MAMMALS, REPTILES, INSECTS AND AMPHIBIANS.

Hello learners, do you know or can describe how groups of animals such as mammals, reptiles, insects and amphibians look? We all identified mammals, reptiles, insects in our previous lesson. We shall add amphibians to the number of groups and discus how they look.

1. Mammals: they have fur on their skin, four legs,

2. Reptiles: They have scale in their skin, rough skin, some have four legs, some don’t have legs.

3. Insects: They have wings, six to twelve legs, hairy skin, long stomach that we call thorax.

4. Amphibians: Amphibians are animals that live in water and on land. Examples are: crocodile, snake, frog, salamander, alligator, snail and newt. They have smooth and shining skin, our legs, but the snail and the snake have no legs. Let perform the exercise below to help us identify these animals and their looks.
