Now let’s use the visualization strategy to make meaning from text.
When I say visualization strategy is when mental images are created in the mind; readers visualize when they create mental images about the text. It helps readers connect to the text, resulting in a better understanding of the text.
Now lets look at some key words from the story.
Did you identify words like love, happiness, time, knowledge, richness, sadness and elder.
If you found such words then you are right!
Now let’s construct some meaning from the words and the story.
In pairs/groups, share the knowledge acquired from details of a story.
Put learners into groups to express personal opinions about details of texts.
