INTRODUCTION
(SHORT HISTORY OF COMPUTER NETWORK)
The idea of creating computer network started in the 1960’s by the United State of America Department of Defence. They created an agency called Advanced Research Project Agency (ARPA). That agency created the first computer network called Advanced Research Project Agency Network (ARPANet). The aim of creating this network was to help them to communicate and share information faster. The ARPANet was created in 1969, it was a network within a very small area. After the creation of the ARPANet, other organizations such as universities also built their own network to help in communication and easy sharing of information

EXPLAIN WHAT A NETWORK IS
Network of devices simply means connecting two or more devices together so that communication and information sharing is possible. For example, when you connect your phone to another phone through Bluetooth, you have created a network.
The following are some reasons why we network devices.

1. We network devices to help us communicate faster.
2. We network devices so that we can easily share information
3. We network devices in order to share resources. For example, you can connect 5 computers to one printer in a network. This allows the 5 users to share the printer.
