Tell me some of the things you heard in the documentary.

In today’s lesson, we are going to classify living things plants and animals by their life process.

We see so many things around us. All the things we see around us make up the environment.

All the things we see around us can be put into LIVING AND NON LIVING THINGS. LIVING THINGS ARE THINGS THAT HAVE LIFE IN THEM. Some examples of livings things are; HUMAN BEINGS, PLANTS AND ANIMALS.

NON-LIVING THINGS ARE THINGS THAT DO NOT HAVE LIFE IN THEM. Some examples of Non living things are ; stone, table, glass, rubber,  pen, pencil, book, chair etc.

Plants and animals can do certain things that show that they are living things.

Mention some of the things plants and animals can do.

Expected answers;

  • Breath
  • Die
  • Grow
  • Reproduce
  • Move

All the things you have mentioned are called the LIFE PROCESSES OF LIVING THINGS.
